PARKING, GREETING, SEATING, CROWD CONTROL, and CONNECTION CORNER.
First impressions are very important. At Salty Church, it is our goal to ensure that guests have a positive first impression and feel welcomed from the moment they arrive on our property. Here are ways you can serve:
PARKING TEAM: is responsible for keeping traffic flowing smoothly in the parking lot and directing guests to parking spaces in an orderly manner.
GREETERS: welcome people with a smile and make them feel at home as they step through the doors of Salty.
SEATERS: play a key role in orchestrating a smooth weekend experience by assisting guests to their seats.
CROWD CONTROL: provides and helps maintain a safe and distraction-free environment during our services.
CONNECTION CORNER: provides guests with information about all of our current events, ministry opportunities, and services.

LIFE Group Leader/Host
God didn’t mean for us to do life alone. We were created to experience life with other people and that’s why at Salty we encourage people to get into a Life Group. Life Groups Leaders facilitate a group of three or more people who hang out, study the Word, pray together, serve together, participate in missions, and simply do life deeper. A Life Group Host provides a safe welcoming environment for the group to meet. For more information contact Derrick Shirley at firstname.lastname@example.org
Our Meal Train provides food for family members of individuals who are hospitalized or in need of temporary food assistance. If you enjoy cooking and preparing food for others outside your home this is a great opportunity for you. For more information contact the Fran Hasson at email@example.com
At Salty Church, we strive to use media in a way that is always Christ honoring. We understand that we are not here to put on a show or a production but to help people better engage with the truths of God's word. Our media team is dedicated to excellence to enhance the overall worship experience. Whether it is running the computer for projection, lighting, staging or operating a camera, our team will equip you with the proper training you need. STAND for MIDDLE Schoolers
STAND is a place where middle school students can build friendships and learn about God’s love. In a world where distractions are constant, we want to refocus and give middle schoolers an understanding of how to have an authentic relationship with God in a broken world. Adult mentors are a huge part of our investing in every middle schooler - and that’s where you come in - investing in the lives of middle schoolers. We want you to be a part of a movement that helps raise up students that are passionate followers of Christ. For more information contact Joe Hurtak at email@example.com
PRAYER Team Ministry
Philippians 4:6 says, “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” During our Connection Time of every weekend service we offer prayer support for anyone who has a need. Then, every Tuesday night at 5:30 here at Salty, our Prayer Team prays for people who have written down their prayer needs on a Connection Card. For more information about our Prayer Team Ministry contact Christie O’Brien at firstname.lastname@example.org
God has given us these great facilities as a resource to “Rescue and Empower people for Christ.” That is why we take great care in keeping our property and facilities looking beautiful for our guests and Salty family. So we depend on our Salty family to help us. This is a great area for families to serve together. Whether it be pulling weeds or vacuuming carpets, every bit helps in keeping our property and facilities looking beautiful. For more information about contact Kristen Cobb at email@example.com
Every time we meet we share a meal, worship, and learn from God's word together.
You can help out with food, serve on the media or worship team, or even assist with the set up and clean up. For more information contact Christie O’Brien at firstname.lastname@example.org
“Empowering KiDS to SEEK GOD First!” We are blessed with many young kids at both of our Salty campuses. Salty Kids meets during each each of our weekend services. Salty Kids is a fun, interactive environment where children are safe, learn the truths and stories of God's word, and have a BLAST in the meantime. If you love kids and love having a good time, consider joining the SaltyKids team. For more information contact Elizabeth Linkinhoker at email@example.com
Do you enjoy office work? We are always looking for help at the Salty Office: answering incoming calls, filing, data entry, coping and cutting or simply helping prepare for the weekend services. We can always use a helping hand. For more information contact Frances Chaisson at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Salty Family Services
Our mission is to RESCUE, SERVE AND EMPOWER families to prevent child abuse and neglect by helping at risk families throughout Volusia County become a safe family for their children. We connect families to informal and formal services offered by private organizations and churches. Salty Families also provides mentoring and temporary financial support to these families. Our Mentors keep families “connected” and moving toward EMPOWERMENT, independence, and continuous progress in forming a safe home environment for their children. For more information contact Jeff Chaisson at firstname.lastname@example.org
Worship spans all aspects of our lives. One of the most common forms of worship today is the music we offer to God by singing and playing instruments. The Worship Ministry creates and provides an environment that is focused on bringing attention and glory to Jesus Christ. Our purpose is to lead others into the presence of God so they can personally experience His wonder, power and love. Worship is not just something we do on weekends. True worship is a lifestyle, an act of offering ourselves fully to God in all we do - everyday. We encourage you to make worship your lifestyle while at home, at work, within your community or your church family. For more information contact Corey Cobb at email@example.com
