FAQs

First time visiting our Ormond campus? Here's what you need to know.

Contact Us
Where do I park?
Sunday

When you arrive at the Ormond Campus you will see signs & banners directing you to our parking areas. We have a main lot, a grass lot, and available parking at some surrounding businesses. Our parking lot greeters will also be available to help you find a spot.

What should I expect when I visit for the first time?
Sunday

You’ll be welcomed by friendly volunteers who can help you find your way around if you need it. You can expect a relaxed & welcoming environment, free coffee, engaging worship, practical teaching, and opportunities to meet new people or get connected. You can participate in as much or as little as you feel comfortable.

What’s The Boardroom?
Sunday

The Boardroom is a local coffee shop on the northeast corner of our Ormond campus. On Sundays, The Boardroom is a venue where the service is shown on a large screen. During that time, you can enjoy a beverage, grab one of their signature waffles, and watch the service in a more casual environment.

Is there coffee available?
Sunday

Yes! Free Dunkin coffee is available before the service and during Connection Time. You are also welcome to purchase coffee from The Boardroom if you’re looking for a more specialty brew.

How long is the service?
Sunday

Our weekend service typically lasts 50-60 minutes. It includes worship music, a message, and time to connect with others.

What is the worship like?
Sunday

Worship at Salty is modern, engaging, and authentic. It usually lasts about 15-20 minutes. Our worship is designed to help people connect with God. You’re free to participate in whatever way feels comfortable for you.

What happens during Connection Time?
Sunday

Every week, we take time to connect with God and with each other, continuing our worship through Connection Time. It’s a 3-4 minute moment in our service where you can feel free to connect with others, grab a coffee or donut refill, pray, take communion, and practice generosity.

What should I wear?
Sunday

Wear something comfortable that can get wet. Many people wear dark shorts or swimwear, and Salty provides all those getting baptized with a t-shirt and a towel.

Is there childcare available?
Sunday

Yes. SaltyKids provides a safe and engaging environment for children during the service. Our trained volunteers help kids learn about Jesus in a fun, age-appropriate way. If it’s your first time, plan to arrive a few minutes early so we can help get your child checked in.

What about the sunrise service?
Sunday

Every Sunday at 7:30am, we host a Sunrise Service on the beach at the Granada Approach (weather permitting). If weather is an issue, we meet in The Boardroom instead.

Can I take communion if I’m visiting?
Sunday

Yes. Communion elements are available through the service located at tables around our worship area, in The Boardroom and on the porch. You are free to take communion at any time before, during, or after the service.

Who can I contact if I have more questions?

Our team would love to help. You can stop by the Welcome Counter before or after the service or contact us at office@salty.org for more information.

Are there midweek service options?
Midweek

Our Ormond campus offers a Monday night service at 6:30p. Same service, different day of the week. We also offer several midweek opportunities to connect and grow, including Groups at Salty, workshops and classes, events, and more!
